Most rides to Newark take the New Jersey Turnpike Extension (I-78) west or Routes 1 and 9 over the Pulaski Skyway. From Journal Square it is usually 15 to 20 minutes. Coming home, the Turnpike Extension brings you back to Exit 14C, the exit for downtown Jersey City.

Jersey City and Hoboken to JFK and LaGuardia
From Jersey City, most rides to JFK go through the Holland Tunnel and across Lower Manhattan, then out through Brooklyn or Queens. JFK is the main airport for international flights in New York, and our JFK car service drops you at your airline's terminal. At rush hour, the Staten Island route over the Verrazzano Bridge is sometimes faster, and we pick the road on the day. From Hoboken, rides to LaGuardia usually take the Lincoln Tunnel and the Queens-Midtown Tunnel.
The Holland and Lincoln tunnels charge a toll going into New York, and both lead into the Manhattan congestion toll zone. Both tolls are already in your quote. To time a flight, take the long end of the drive and add 2 hours for a domestic flight or 3 for an international one. At evening rush, that means leaving Jersey City about 4 hours before a domestic flight from JFK.
