How Do You Get from Republic Airport to Manhattan?

Book a car to meet your flight. Republic to Midtown Manhattan is about 37 miles, close to an hour on clear roads and up to two hours at rush hour. Your chauffeur waits at the aircraft where your FBO allows it, or in the FBO lobby (the private jet terminal), and drives you straight to your door for one fixed price.

A Business Sprinter Van takes 14 people and 15 bags, so a full jet party rides together. Your quote covers the whole car, tolls and tip included.

The other option is the Long Island Rail Road from Farmingdale station, a short taxi ride from the airport. That works for one person with a small bag. With luggage, a group or a tight schedule in the city, a car is the simpler choice.

I booked Gotham Ride to help with transportation for myself and my husband for our wedding weekend. Everything was perfect - booking was super easy and transparent, our driver, Vladi, was on time and super nice, and the cars were clean and comfortable. I booked them one day for an hourly service, so that we could easily get from our apartment, to city hall, to photos in central park, and then to our hotel in Queens. It was a long day, with many stops (and some unexpected traffic) but Vladi was so accommodating and made the day so easy for us. Later in the weekend I booked them for a point-to-point ride to take us from our hotel and back to our apartment. We had a lot of bags and luggage with us after the wedding, but Vladi was so helpful in loading and unloading the car. Overall, we had a great experience and I will definitely book again the next time we need a chauffeur service!

My 17 year old daughter was traveling alone and I was very nervous to have her alone in a car with a stranger, but Gotham were amazing about answering my questions before I booked, and stayed consistently helpful throughout her trip. Because my daughter was a minor traveling alone, they not only made sure I had the driver's GPS location throughout the 2 trips, but they personally talked to me on the phone during the first trip when a GPS glitch occurred to assure me all was still good. Even more amazingly, before the second trip, Maggie personally called me on Sunday to ask whether we wanted the same driver as the first trip or a new one. I was really impressed with this level of personal service as they knew I was nervous, but because Alexander was great with my daughter on the first trip I was more than happy to have him drive her again. Gotham really impressed me throughout these trips and I will only use them whenever I need rides in or around the city. THANK YOU!
